Who We Are

Scott’s counsel is widely sought after in matters pertaining to:

  • the Canada Elections Act, with a particular emphasis on third-party election rules
  • the Lobbying Act and regulations promulgated thereunder
  • the Conflict of Interest Act
  • the Access to Information Act
  • the Canadian Environmental Protection Act
  • the Greenhouse Gas Pollution Pricing Act

Scott has significant experience in board governance and the development of company and association advocacy strategy. 

Scott has done advocacy and stakeholder engagement for the risk assessment and risk management of over 600 chemical substances under Canada's Chemicals Management Plan. 

Scott’s counsel is widely sought after in matters pertaining to: third-party election rules, the Lobbying Act and the Conflict of Interest Act; association board governance; the Canadian Environmental Protection Act; the Chemicals Management Plan; and labeling requirements in Canada.
